Every macOS build is code-signed and notarized with Apple, so Gatekeeper verifies it before first launch. This applies to the macOS builds specifically.
Installed release builds check GitHub Releases and update themselves automatically — no separate updater, no account.
On a fresh profile the launch ping is presented on, but nothing sends until you save the choice and you can turn it off before continuing. When enabled, Blanc sends a random install ID, random session ID, app version, platform, architecture, and coarse OS major—never browsing history, URLs, searches, or page content. Read the privacy policy.
what comes with it
Tabs, navigation, and page controls stay close without taking permanent space from the page.
Blanc can block ads and known trackers without asking you to start with an extension.
Private activity stays out of Blanc history, session restore, and reopen-closed.
Every download button points to the latest Blanc release on GitHub. If your download does not start, open the release page.
Read how Blanc handles your data, verify a release, or email [email protected] if you need a hand.
